With mobile phone usage increasing, there are areas of the network where coverage may be difficult to get to, in these locations small cells are deployed. MID Solutions have been involved in the site acquisition, town planning and design of a number of small cells sites. It involved liaising with a number of different stakeholders including asset owners and power utilities.

Upgrades

With mobile phone data usage increasing year on year in Australia there is a continuous need to upgrade existing mobile telecommunications sites to handle the extra data requirements. MID Solutions have provided design and project management services to our clients to enable both 4G and 5G upgrades to their existing networks.

Greenfields

With the country becoming more connected there is still a need for new mobile phone towers be it in a regional town or the outer suburbs. The MID Solutions team have years of experience in greenfield roll outs and understand the challenges and risks associated with the site selection and design of these sites. This knowledge has assisted our clients is getting sites completed faster and cheaper.

With this expertise he has been responsible for the Site Acquisition, Planning and Design delivery on numerous national rollouts for different clients and project types. Grant understands that ‘speed to market’ is key and has a proven ability to work to tight timeframes.

Anna have over 10 years of experience in the telecommunications industry starting as a structural engineer and transitioning into an experienced project manager delivering successful projects. She has developed a broad range of project management and technical skills tailored to the client’s needs, ranging from planning, design, and site acquisition through to EME compliance. With this she has learnt good internal processes are key to consistent quality designs.

Sumiyya Mujawar

Structural Engineering Lead

Sumiyya is a Chartered Structural Engineer and has worked on several industrial projects before specialising in telecommunication structures. She has experience designing and undertaking structural analysis on multiple different monopole types, guyed masts, towers, and rooftop mounts. Sumiyyas’ technical excellence in the industry enables her to provide cost effective designs that are easy to construct while also considering future upgrades for the site.
